Hey look! I'm active!
So I'm gonna throw around the generic excuses of "my studies are getting in the way of my activity on the internet" because well, it's true. Doing a course centred around art really kinda makes ya hate art
See, the projects that we get set are completely uninspiring. This makes me not want to do anything art related when I get home. However, I have found a cure.. Artists Alley
I went to the MCM London Comic Con a few weeks ago and since walking up and down artists alley multiple times and buying a few nice pieces of artwork I have since found my drive to draw for the sake of drawing. To please no-one but myself.
This will be the first of hopefully many new drawings. My current college project finishes on the 17th on June and then I am pretty much done with education until September
Thanks for y'know, sticking around during my absences (I know the last 2 years I have been in and out of active :/ )
I used pencil to draw this and tweaked it in PS CS3 as my scanner likes to kill depth

I imagine it's very easy to lose inspiration when your courses are centered around art, but I'm glad you found something that makes you want to draw again. I really love the shading in this piece, especially on the jacket. And his hair is fantastic.
